FIELDWORK PLACEMENT ATTENDANCE
100% attendance by students in fieldwork placements is mandatory; There
is a zero tolerance policy towards any hours missed. Students must make
up all time missed regardless of the reason.
The Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education and the preceptor must
be notified and a strategy determined regarding making up hours. Special
arrangements will be made to complete the hours missed.
All hours must be completed or a grade of "incomplete" (IN) will be
earned. We encourage students to document extra hours accrued at each site
for inclusion in their professional portfolio.
